Tim advises clients on all aspects of directors’ and officers’ (D&O) insurance and corporate indemnification, including counseling them with respect to the D&O insurance and corporate indemnification aspects of securities and derivative litigation, initial public offerings, spin-offs, mergers and acquisitions, and bankruptcies.
Jeff’s career as in-house counsel spans the networking technology industry (F5 Networks, Inc.); telecom (Western Wireless Corporation); game-based entertainment (Wizards of the Coast); and medical devices (Heart Technology, Inc.). He also served as a partner at the Seattle-based law firm Stafford Frey Cooper.

George represents issuers, officers, directors, accountants, and underwriters in class action securities litigation and in SEC investigations and enforcement proceedings.
Gordon Empey – Special Counsel, Heller Ehrman LLP
Gordon recently rejoined Heller Ehrman after serving as Vice President & General Counsel at the biotech, Radiant Research. He represents clients with mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, clinical trial agreements, technology licensing transactions, and general corporate matters.
David Payne – Senior Vice President, Aon Financial Services Group
David manages a national executive liability team, focused primarily on director and officer liability issues. His background includes both commercial and investment banking with a large multinational bank. His clients range from large multinational accounts to companies contemplating a public company offering and span a variety of industry groups.
Lori Lynn represents issuers, directors and officers, and national accounting firms in a variety of securities litigation and enforcement matters including SEC investigations and proceedings, class actions, derivative suits, and other corporate governance disputes.
Steve has been with Aon for 10 years and is the Managing Director of Financial Services Group, Legal & Clams Practice, which provides legal support on Directors and Officers Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Errors and Omissions, Employment Practices, and other matters. Steve assists clients and the Aon network with litigation, claims, coverage, risk assessment, risk management, and brokerage issues.
