For Search Firms

If you are a search firm with a signed search firm agreement with Heller Ehrman and a login ID for our online candidate submission system, you can Submit a Candidate now.  Detailed instructions for using the system are below.

If you are a search firm without a signed search firm agreement with Heller Ehrman, please send an email to HellerEhrmanRecruiting@HellerEhrman.com to request an agreement.  Please include “Request for Search Firm Agreement” in the subject line of the email and your name, your firm’s name, and your complete contact information in the body of the email.  Please also note the office and position for which you would like to submit a candidate and a description of the candidate’s qualifications. 

Detailed Instructions for search firms with access to the system

  • From the Search Firm ID window, enter your search firm’s online ID.  The ID is not case sensitive.  Click Submit.
  • On the Search Firm User window, select your name from the pick-list and click Enter to see the positions currently available. 
    • If your name is not on the pick-list, click Register to create your individual profile.  In your profile, the Short Name field should include your first and last name.  The system does not allow duplicates.  If your name is not accepted, please use a variation of it.  All profile fields must be completed.  Click Add to submit your registration form.
    • On the Search Firm User window, select your name from the pick-list and click Enter to see the positions currently available.
    • After you submit your registration form it is not possible for you to edit the information.  If you need a change made, please email HellerEhrmanRecruiting@HellerEhrman.com.  Include “Profile Change” in the subject line and the requested changes in the body of the email.
  • Once you have entered the online candidate submission system through your search firm’s online ID and your name any candidate you submit will be credited to you.  You need not submit any additional search firm information with your candidate’s materials.
