Mark Weeks joined Heller Ehrman in 2003. He is the Managing Director for the firm's Business Department and was co-chair of Heller Ehrman’s Venture Law Group from 2003-2005.

Experience

Mr. Weeks' practice includes the corporate representation of emerging growth and public companies, venture capital firms and investment banks. He is involved in a full range of corporate legal projects including private financings, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate partnerships and technology licensing, as well as the representation of investment banks in equity and debt transactions.

In 1993, Mr. Weeks joined Venture Law Group which merged with Heller Ehrman in 2003.

Mr. Weeks has practiced law in Japan and has represented U.S. and Japanese companies in a variety of corporate transactions.

Mr. Weeks also serves as co-chair of the American Heart Association's Research Roundtable.

This year, Mr. Weeks was honored in Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal's 2008 "Who's Who in Silicon Valley."
