John W. Robertson joined the firm in 2003, following the merger with Venture Law Group, and has a practice focused on emerging technology companies, venture capital firms and investment banks. He is a member of the firm’s Corporate Securities, M&A and VLG practice. Mr. Robertson serves as the Chair of the Business Department for the Northwest offices.
Mr. Robertson represents clients in a wide range of transactions, including public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing transactions, corporate partnerships, commercial agreements and venture capital financings, as well as general corporate matters. His practice focuses on the corporate representation of technology and life sciences companies, both public and private. He has worked with a wide variety of clients in the software, wireless, telecommunications, medical device and biotechnology industries. Mr. Robertson has been named in the 2007 edition of Chambers USA - America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, and has been listed for a number of years in the Washington Law & Politics survey of best corporate lawyers in the State of Washington.
