Tyler Peterson joined the firm in 2007 and is a member of the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice group.

Experience

Mr. Peterson has experience with intellectual property, antitrust, and securities related litigation. His litigation and non-legal experience has involved companies in the telecommunications, software, banking, media, and commodities industries. Prior to joining Heller Ehrman, Mr. Peterson worked as an analyst for a large Washington State based bank. Mr. Peterson speaks conversational Spanish.

Representative Engagements

  • Represents a technology licensing company with a large telecommunications related patent portfolio in a multi-district patent litigation involving call center technology. 

  • Represented large manufacturer in lawsuits brought under the Lanham Act targeting the importation of counterfeit merchandize bearing the manufacturer’s trademarks.

  • Represents directors and officers of a publicly traded media company in a derivative lawsuit involving allegations that the individual defendants backdated stock option grants.
