Greg Papciak joined the firm in 2003 and has a practice emphasizing venture capital financings, equity and debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property licensing, as well as general corporate and securities matters. He is a member of the Corporate/VLG practice.
Mr. Papciak has worked with a variety of technology companies and venture capital firms, including Alder BioPharmaceuticals, Archus Orthopedics, Applied Precision, Avogadro, Blue Heron Biotechnology, Capital Stream, CodeCorrect, Convera, Dexterra, Frazier Healthcare, Frazier Technology Ventures, Hubspan, Illumigen Biosciences, Koronis Pharmaceuticals, m-Qube, NanoString Technologies, NGN Capital, Onconome, Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, PhotoWorks, Rho Ventures, Seattle Genetics, Wavelink, and Xcyte Therapies.
Prior to joining Heller Ehrman, Mr. Papciak was an attorney in the Kirkland, WA office of Venture Law Group. Among his activities in law school, Mr. Papciak was a teaching fellow for the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology and was awarded a Law and Technology Certificate for completion of a program focusing on intellectual property and the intersection of law and technology. Mr. Papciak was named a "Rising Star" in the Washington legal community for 2005, 2006 and 2007 by Washington Law & Politics magazine.
