Representative Engagements

• Represents Ernst & Young LLP in the AOL Time Warner securities litigation in federal and California state court. These actions relate to AOL’s accounting for online advertising revenues both before and after its merger with Time Warner.
• Represented the Italian accounting firm, Deloitte & Touche SpA, in several cases in federal court relating to Parmalat, the international dairy conglomerate.
• Represented mortgage lender in wage-and-hour putative class claim involving alleged uncompensated overtime.
• Represented a major North American mining company in a lawsuit filed by the California Attorney General that sought issuance of a cleanup order and recovery in response costs and damages related to arsenic and other contamination found at an inactive gold mine.
• Represented PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in San Francisco Superior Court in an action relating to the audits of Yorkshire Foods, a UK company in the California fruits and nuts industry.
