Lawrence W. Keeshan (Larry) joined Heller Ehrman in 2007 and is a member of the Securities Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Keeshan also serves on the firm’s Executive Committee, with overall responsibility for the firm's Practice Groups as well as its operations in Asia and Europe.

Experience

Mr. Keeshan brings a perspective developed through significant experience both as a law firm litigator and a general counsel of a major international organization. He came to Heller Ehrman after serving for a number of years as the Global General Counsel of the PricewaterhouseCoopers organization, with responsibility for legal support to the PwC network of member firms throughout the world. In that role, Mr. Keeshan advised on a broad range of legal and business issues, including major litigation and regulatory proceedings, both in the US and in other jurisdictions; significant business transactions; and internal investigations in a number of countries.

While at Heller Ehrman, Mr. Keeshan has continued to focus on cross-border issues, including acting on behalf of clients with regard to regulatory and legislative reform efforts in China.

Prior to joining PwC in 1995, Mr. Keeshan was a partner with two law firms, including Heller Ehrman in San Francisco, where he specialized in securities class action and accountants' liability litigation, as well as antitrust litigation and counseling.

Mr. Keeshan's current practice focuses on cross-border disputes, regulatory investigations and proceedings, internal investigations, and regulatory and legislative reform.
