
Bhavana Joneja joined Heller Ehrman in 2007 and is an associate in the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. Her practice primarily focuses on patent litigation.
Experience
Ms. Joneja’s litigation experience includes active participation in the development of litigation strategies, brief writing, all facets of fact and expert discovery and trial preparation. She has represented clients in matters involving several technical subject matters, including pharmaceutical compositions, chemicals and biomedical devices. In addition, she has prosecuted numerous patent applications, prepared patentability and non-infringement opinions, and has experience with European patent oppositions involving biotechnology and biopharmaceuticals.

There she counseled numerous biotechnology and biopharmaceutical clients and obtained extensive experience in world-wide patent prosecution, including interferences and foreign oppositions, in the area of biotechnology.
Represented Shell Oil Company, Pfizer Inc. and Dyax Corp. in connection with patent opinion work on various chemical, pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products.
