Christopher G. Hanewicz joined the firm in 2001 as an Associate in the Life Sciences Practice and is a member of the Intellectual Property Transactions Practice Group.
Prior to joining Heller Ehrman, Mr. Hanewicz was an associate in the Madison office of a national firm. He has been involved in complex intellectual property litigations concerning both biotechnology and mechanical patents. He has trial experience in both state and federal courts, as well as experience in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Hanewicz has also gained substantial experience in the damages side of intellectual property litigation. Since 1999, he has worked with deaf high school students in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin Law School’s Wisconsin School for the Deaf Mock Trial Program.
