William H. Forman joined the firm in 2003 and is a member of the Securities Litigation Practice Group.

Experience

Mr. Forman has represented international accounting firms in civil litigation and SEC matters, and a Wall Street investment bank defending litigation arising from Enron. He also successfully represented at trial in federal court a major entertainment corporation in a licensing dispute.

Prior to joining Heller Ehrman, Mr. Forman was a Deputy with the Office of the Federal Public Defender in Los Angeles, where he focused on capital cases. In this capacity, he first-chaired trials, briefed and argued matters in the Ninth Circuit, and served as lead author on briefs in the United States and California Supreme Courts.
